Magic: The Gathering 2013 Core Set (Magic 2013) is an upcoming advanced level core set being released July 13, 2012. It will contain 249 cards. Prerelease Events will take place July 7-8, 2012 and Launch Parties will take place July 13-15, 2012. Game Day will be on August 4-5, 2012.
Magic 2013 is the first Core Set to have multicolored cards, including Nichol Bolas, Planeswalker. It thus follows the tradition of recent Core Sets giving a taste and support to the themes of the Expansion following it, namely multicolored cards in Return to Ravnica. |
